Raynaud’s is certainly one of the most peculiar of medical
conditions afflicting millions of people worldwide. Raynaud's Syndrome affects 5 to 10 percent of the general
population in the United States. The disease is very
common ailment affecting all ages, but most often women.
The Framingham Study found that 5.8% of men and 9.6% of
women suffered from it.
Raynaud's Syndrome is distinguished by spasms of the blood
vessels in the hands known as “vasospasm”. Vasospasms are sharp persistent contractions of
the “arterioles” restricting blood flow to the extremities, like
your finger tips.
| Many thanks
for the prompt delivery of the Open Tip
Finger thereapy Gloves. I have worn them
since and have alredy seen an
improvement in my circulation . I suffer
badly with Raynaud,s so they are a
wonderful discovery. Many thanks. Just
one small comment, the stitching between
the thumb and forefinger could do with
being stronger as I have had to re
stitch both of them on this weak point.
I could not be bothered with the hassle
of returning them as I am pleased with
them overall. It is just that I have
only had them on for a few days , so
thinking ahead when I am wearing them
nearly all the time , they could be a
little stronger. I do love the fineness
of the material which makes it very
comforttable to do most chores like
typing and sewing etc.

Raynaud's Phenomenon can also afflict some people’s toes,
ears, nose and tongue. They are classically described as
being accompanied by color change of the skin (white, blue,
and then red).
Although the exact cause of Raynaud’s phenomenon is not yet
understood, medical researchers believe it mostly has to do
with our body's reaction or overreaction to cold
temperatures.
